When we designed these boats, it was with the intention of making them easy, comfortable, and accessible to everyone, no matter their age or mobility level. Getting in and out of a boat is not always an easy process, so first, an optional step system was created. Then wheelchair access became a design/engineering priority. We wanted a boat that was fully functional and offered optional wheelchair accommodation. The Kingfisher Mobility Vessel does just that thanks to its reinforced infrastructure and interchangeable front seat module.
The concept of a mobile wheelchair ramp leading from the dock onto the boat deck led to the development of a quick-release fitting to remove the front railing section of the boat. Easy and dignified access is now available to everyone.
Not least in this process has been our dedication to safety. All MacRiver Boats wheelchair modules have a mandatory operator training program which certifies the individual in safe and proper use of the equipment.
We are committed to customer satisfaction. If you aren't happy with a product or service, we want to know about it right away so we can make it right.
